The band have been working on the follow-up to 2003's 'Hail To The Thief' for over a year, and while they had been keeping a studio diary on their Dead Air Space site, things had gone quiet until recently. However in today's post guitarist Ed O'Brien has announced that the record is nearly ready. "A word from the studio," he wrote. "Yes I know its been a while ..... but we've been working on this album for a while ...... BUT WE ARE NEARLY THERE ....." No more details were forthcoming, though it has been rumoured the album could be released this autumn. |
